NSHMBA is celebrating the 2015 kick off for the Phoenix Chapter! This will be a time to meet our sister/brother partners and engage with the community providing resources, networking, and leveraging our partnerships for 2015. NSHMBA will be welcoming Collectivo as a Phoenix area networking and education partner as well as our charity of choice, the Guitars Not Guns Music Program, AZ Chapter.
We will have 4 guest speakers providing a few inspiring words to kick off the new year.
Angie Amarillas Mortemore, President of NSHMBA - Over 15 years of professional experience as a Director of Business Development and Executive Coordinator working for high profile Arizona foundations, non-profit organizations, and philanthropic establishments which support the development of students and empowerment of people.
Ryan Countrymen, Founder and President of Guitars not Guns Music Program, AZ chapter - As a guitar player of 20 years and an Arizona native, Ryan went in search of a nonprofit organization in which he could volunteer his time teaching guitar to underserved youth in Arizona. The Guitars not Guns Music Program was the perfect organization with its mission of providing music and mentorship to foster kids and at-risk youth. While he was neither a foster child nor an at-risk youth, Ryan recalls first hand how music helped him cope with the challenges of childhood and early adulthood and knows that music, good role models, and mentorship can be a positive influence on the lives of other kids.
Joshua Molina, Co-founder of Collectivo - His passion is helping the Latino community but his perspective is global, having traveled to several countries and speaking four languages fluently. Joshua currently runs global marketing and communications for a Scottsdale-based software company called Trax Technologies.
Eric Diaz, Co-Owner of Nativa - In 2009, Eric cofounded Nativa, a multicultural agency that focuses on the Hispanic market through digital communications, online advertising, and culturally relevant content creation. Eric is cofounder of Collectivo and on the Marketing board for NSHMBA Phoenix which allows him to give back to the Hispanic community right in central Phoenix.
Come one, come all for a night of networking in central Phoenix. Appetizers and adult beverages will be served so plan to join us for a great mixer!
